Five performances across Madeira featuring About Escher
Throughout 2025, the chamber ensemble Legno Duo — violinist Joana Costa and marimba player Duarte Santos, both members of the Orquestra Clássica da Madeira — has been performing the work About Escher (for violin and marimba) by contemporary composer Mario Carro across the island of Madeira. This tour brought contemporary chamber music to a variety of cultural spaces, from historic chapels to renowned hotels.
